After six years of tertiary education and numerous part-time positions within sport and recreation, Daniel secured an ideal full time role within local government in November 2010.

Away from work, Daniel has 18 years of cricket experience under his belt and has coached and served on committees at numerous clubs. He also plays baseball in winter and is again a member of the club committee.

Sport and recreation is an obvious interest for Daniel and his articles reflect that, especially his knowledge of cricket and football.

The owner, manager and editor in chief of Pen & Paper Sports, Daniel hopes to see the site grow from strength to strength in the future.

It has been reported that F1 boss. Bernie Ecclestone. has offered $54.4 million (AUD) to stage a grand prix around London's most famous streets.

The proposed circuit, which is 5.1 kilometres in length, is set to be unveiled when the full plan is presented next Thursday. It is however believed that the circuit will include visits past Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square.

It’s anticipated that more than 120,000 spectators would attend the marque event, comfortably making it the biggest race on the tour.

Brittain has a wealth of experience on the F1 circuit, with Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Paul Di Resta all currently competing in the 2012 championship. In addition to this, there are four British test drivers aligned with F1 teams, Gary Paffett, Oliver Turvey, Sam Bird and Susie Wolff.
